On his way to work every day for the past six years, Dr. Cem Baykal has consistently passed the same furniture business. Additionally, he can never fail to notice the two stray dogs loitering in front everytime he passes by.
The two puppies are inseparable and close pals.
The store, Istikbal Mobile, offers furniture for the house, including couches, drapes, and beds. The owner decided to take action to improve the lives of the local stray animals since she had a soft spot for them.
According to Baykal, who spoke to The Dodo, “the proprietor of this business places one of the mattresses (with a plastic cover over it) in front of the shop.” This bed may be one of the arriving ones or it might be the one they sell that day.
According to Baykal, “They don’t turn the bed on its side; they just leave it flat, and these two stray dogs lay and sleep there every time.” “The store offers a bed every day if it’s winter.
Thanks to the shop owner, the strays no longer have to find comfort on cold cement sidewalks. The dogs are well-known in the area and depend on neighbors to care for them, but this store takes it one step further.
“This street is known as a rich area and everyone gives food or water to the local dog and cats, but no one supplies quality bedding to them normally,” Baykal said. “This shop does.”

On a chilly, wet day, Baykal saw the stray dogs curled up on the mattress and made the decision to take a photo of them. She then posted the image to Twitter to thank the store’s proprietor. Even with a plastic cover, some individuals are skeptical about how clean the mattresses are, but most people have praised the generous gesture.
In spite of the bad weather, Baykal recently visited the shop to see how the stray animals were doing.
On his way to the hospital early in the morning, Baykal stated, “We had really hard rain this morning in Istanbul. I saluted my friends.” The bedding was still there even though the store was closed. The slacker remained in bed, but his pal was awake and by his side.
Seems the pups want to pay the good deed forward.
