Thanks to the arrival of this huge feline, the term “large cat” has been given a major makeover. Meet Apollo, a lion-tiger crossbreed who has just been named the “world’s largest cat.”

This gentle giant is a liger, a cross between a male lion and a female tigress. Apollo recently acquired recognition after taking a stroll in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, with Mike Holston and wildlife advocate Kody Antle.

The video was then published on YouTube, where it quickly became viral.

“This gigantic cat’s name is Apollo, and he’s the world’s largest cat.” The issue now is, what would this creature eat? Mike stated, “I believe it would devour everything in sight, everything in sight.” A herd of these monsters would regularly take down a herd of elephants for a snack, in my opinion.

“It’s such a gorgeous beast, and it can reach speeds of up to 40 miles per hour in only a few steps,” the former footballer remarked.

Mike also mentioned that the liger’s teeth are the size of his middle finger, his tongue is the size of his forearm, and his lung is likely the same size as his body. According to the Scoop Whoop, its neck is likewise too big for either of the males to put their arms around.

Ligers may grow up to 12 feet tall and weigh up to 795 pounds, which is twice as much as a lion or tiger. The ancient sabre-tooth tiger, which went extinct 42,000 years ago, is being compared to Apollo.
