There is a brand-new baby sibling on the way for this pooch called Penelope. They won’t really meet until she is born in a few more weeks, but the sweet little puppy has already started showing her affection.
It is safe to say that Penelope is enamored.
Together with her owners, Juliana and her family, Penelope resides in Brazil. Although Penelope never got an official pregnancy announcement from Juliana, she appears to be aware that she is 34 weeks pregnant.
Yes, I believe she is aware, Juliana told The Dodo. “She senses that something is different. She enters and sits beneath the cot after we have set up the little nursery room. She has always been quite dependent and loving, but it has become much more pronounced toward me.”
Penelope, however, recently took an unexpected action. The dog came over as Juliana was sitting on the couch and started cuddling with her and the unborn child as well.

Juliana was thrilled to see Penelope’s gesture of affection toward her unborn baby: “It’s the first time she’s done this,” she said. “It was very emotional.”
But she’s not the only one moved by it. After Juliana posted the clip to Facebook, it was viewed nearly 2 million times.
“I’m sure Penelope will be a great big sister,” Juliana said.
