This small puppy named Osito just discovered that he had no friends anywhere in the world. His family had made the decision that they no longer wanted him.
Osito was, luckily, not alone for very long.
Felicia Quispe Arana made the decision to take Osito in after learning about his predicament. In Cusco, Peru, Arana oversees Colitas Sin Techo, a refuge for stray dogs. She wasn’t first sure how the other neighbors would react to Osito.
“Our shelter doesn’t have any pups. The majority of the canines are adults, and all of them are enormous,” Arana told The Dodo. I was unsure of how they would respond to Osito when they first saw him.
The dog, who had first been uneasy at the new environment, was welcomed with the most adorable greeting, and it really made a difference.
Osito was first frightened by the sight of so many big dogs, according to Arana. He felt at ease and wandered around with a lot of confidence after meeting the other dogs.
The lone puppy immediately gained a lot of new acquaintances. But it wasn’t long before he acquired something that was even more essential.
Osito quickly found a place to call his own.
We were successful in locating a person who ultimately adopted him, according to Arana. “Now that he has a family, I wish him health and happiness.”
Hopefully, the puppy’s new pals from the shelter will also soon discover the same.
