Bea is a cute baby duck who her mother abandoned before she was even born, which obviously did Bea no favors in terms of her growth. But fortunately, the infant’s fortune would turn when a woman by the name of Erin found her just as the bird was hatching.
The lady recalls that she attempted to locate the mother so that she could care to her little calf back at the incubation nest, but she was unable to do so because there was no bird in the area. Erin made the decision to look after the small bird by herself as a result.
According to Bored Panda , in an interview with a website, Erin said:
“…There were a lot of unhatched eggs, so on my way back I stopped at the nest, just to confirm that they were all fake. Good! Good thing I did because this little critter was actively hatching! It hatched a full day after the rest of the clutch.
I tried for hours to get mom back to her nest… by sunset the baby was still resting and mom wanted nothing to do with it. She knew she wouldn’t make it through the night and my conscience just wouldn’t let me ignore it.”
From then on, Erin took the beautiful baby duck under her wing. She was determined to do everything possible to help her get ahead. Now Bea has grown a bit and enjoys resting on Erin’s neck like a spoiled little one, it seems to be one of her favorite places.
Even Erin, who adores spoiling the tiny bird, has given Bea a cute diaper so she won’t mess up the floor when she plays inside as she pleases.
At Erin’s house, Bea has two more friends named Blanche and Dorothy who live in the backyard. Erin hopes that as soon as Bea is a little older they will become friends and spend time together.
Erin says:
I’ve been trying every day to get him to interact with the other two ducks. Blanche and Dorothy are their names. They are neighbors of mine. He runs to meet them when he sees them, so I’m hoping that the more he grows used to them, the simpler it will be for him to move from the inside to the outdoors.
Bea has been a lucky duck and is now content with her new family, but the fact is that Erin and her are only beginning their long and beautiful relationship, and amazing experiences and fun times are undoubtedly waiting for them to live with Blache and Dorothy.
