Little pups and lovely butterflies are the perfect things in and of themselves. But when they work together, they are able to raise the bar significantly.
Just ask this dog and her vibrant new companion.
Lúcia Kohl Dalmolin recently shared an adorable video of the little dog enjoying a day out on the front porch. It was there, it seems, that the pup caught the attention of a passing butterfly, who flitted over to make her acquaintance.
What followed was perhaps one of the sweetest moments ever caught on camera.
“Playing with a butterfly,” the dog’s owner can be heard saying in disbelief. “Just look at that.”

Although it goes without saying that pups are known for being energetic, the butterfly appears to share her joy. The butterfly could have been more than simply interested in some light-hearted play, though. It appears that the video is from Brazil, where several butterfly species are known to settle on other creatures and “drink” their tears.
Whatever the circumstances, it will be difficult to top a joyous moment.
