There are some wonderful stories in movies that seem to be quite close to the truth. Like the classic Disney film The Fox and the Hound, which was recently reimagined as a bond between a rescued fox and an adorable bulldog.

This extraordinary story began in April when Pauline Ashanolla, a 28-year-old lady from the Isle of Wight in England, rescued a two-week-old fox.

A couple had spotted the small abandoned dog and, after failing to find a rescue shelter to take her in, phoned Pauline.

According to Pauline, who spoke to The Kennedy News and Media,

“When we found Marley, she was completely covered in flies and ticks. They were in his ears, in his ears, in his ears, in his ears, in his ears, in She was spitting up enormous worms that were longer than she was. If they had discovered her only 15 minutes later, she would have died.

Pauline took extremely tight and diligent care of Marley for the first six weeks, until she was fully recovered.

Pauline explained:

“At first, I was concerned about Marley, particularly his relationship with the dogs. Ernie was first scared of Marley and disliked her, but with time he grew to sleep closer to her. They began to play after approximately three weeks. They began running together one day and have been close buddies ever since.
