Despite without donning a cape, this heroic act by the brave child resulted in the lifesaving of a helpless creature. Without hesitation, the lad, Belal, who is estimated to be in his early teens, risked his own life to save a fawn from drowning.
During the rainy season, floods are very common in Bangladesh, but extremely dangerous as well, for both humans and wildlife. A tiny baby deer got separated from its family after a torrential rain lead to a fast rising flood on river in Noakhali, Bangladesh.
Fortunately for the little one, the young boy spotted when the tiny creature was taken away by the fast waters. He immediately jumped in and desperately tried to save the deer.
In the end, his courageous and bold action paid off when they both arrived at the river’s banks without incident. The touching rescue was seen by a photographer, who took photos of it. Furthermore, the potent photos speak for themselves.
The photographer, named Hasibul Wahab said he and the others that witnessed the scene, couldn’t believe their eyes when seeing the brave boy. However, he said at some point they even feared for his life.
“We worried he may perish since the river was so full of water and it was high tide, but he was such a courageous youngster,” Wahab added. To save the youngster, my friend was even prepared to dive into the river. But he managed to arrive, and when he did, we praised the young man. Only five or seven individuals were present to see this event, but it was amazing to see.
