In Mala A Mother Lioness Teaches Her Pups On How To Cross A River

In South Africa’s Mala Mala reserve, four young lion cubs boldly follow their mother over a river in adorable footage. Cameron Inggs, who works as a park ranger, captured the scene on camera. The man noticed the huge family out for an afternoon stroll, but things got a little more exciting when they came upon a tiny river.

The cubs had no choice but to follow their mother as she crossed the water. They didn’t appear to be very confident, though. However, one of the cubs, the boldest of the group, gathers his bravery and walks forward. Despite the fact that the water appears to be a little too deep for the lovely tiny creature, it gets it through.

The second and third brothers followed suit, leaping into the water without hesitation. They just tried to mimic their more daring brother’s actions, and within seconds, they were on the opposite side of the water with their mother.

The fourth cub appears to be more apprehensive than its siblings, but it eventually learns that staying with his family is the only option (well, I have no doubts its mom would have returned for him if necessary). The four small lions, thankfully, learnt their lesson.

When it comes to crossing water, lions, unlike other large wild cats, are highly hesitant. They only enter the water if absolutely necessary. They prefer to stay on dry land otherwise.

You can see the sweet moment here!
