Martin Stanton went out for a stroll with his camera a little over a year ago when he came across a sweet donkey named Harriet relaxing in a field close to his house in Ireland. Stanton was immediately taken with Harriet and made the decision to introduce himself by giving her a present.
I adore animals, Stanton said to The Dodo. “I saw her, so I gave her carrots the next day.”
From that point on, a lovely relationship started to grow.
Stanton has made spending time with the donkey a regular occurrence ever since that initial meeting. Even more, he made the effort to meet Harriet’s owners, whom he characterizes as “very nice folks” who adore her as well.
Stanton said, glad to contribute to that cause, “Oh, she’s so spoiled.” “I always bring her snacks when I see her, and I’ve been doing it for almost a year now!”
However, the beloved donkey recently offered Stanton a priceless gift in return. It turns out that Harriet has a really sonorous singing voice, and she gave Stanton a concert as a thank-you for all the presents.

Stanton has grown to adore Harriet even more despite the fact that her particular kind of crooning is unlikely to lead to any record deals in the near future:
He said, “That was the first time I heard her sing. “I couldn’t help but chuckle. She is just too cute. So kind and considerate.”
That day, the donkey most definitely earned her carrot, and in a manner, the rest of us are also enjoying a pleasure from this insight into Stanton and Harriet’s endearing bond.
