Deer are considered a nuisance by some. Deer overpopulate in many regions due to a lack of natural predators, wreaking havoc on well-kept gardens. However, no one can resist deer’s young, no matter how much they irritate the normal householder. Baby deer, with their cute faces, strangely gorgeous bodies, and, of course, those spots (eeeek! ), remind us of the ever-popular film “Bambi”– and how helpless they may be.
In all seriousness, what is cuter than a spotted fawn? They are right up there on the cuteness meter with puppies and kittens. That is why this particular story is one of our all-time favorites!
I care for orphaned animals. The rear door was recently left open as a storm came. The deer, on the other hand, were nowhere to be located. I went inside and was about to go out the front door when I noticed them sitting next to an end table in the living room. Because it was going to be terrible, I told them they could sleep in the home for the night.
Animals have a sort of sixth sense about the weather. These three knew exactly where to go to be safe and stay dry.
